|
I've been thinking about this question for a while now. I'm planning on asking and hopefully getting a new Ipod for Christmas. Now I had an Ipod mini before and after 2 years it died. So here is my question.
How would I transfer the songs from my old itunes to my new Ipod? Or will I have to go through the whoe hassel of putting a new itunes on my computer and download all my CD's again

If you still have Itunes on your computer with all your songs still on there, you can transfer them to your new ipod the same way you would have to your old one. _________________ 05/06 Combined High School Record- 39-19

You can also upgrade your i-tunes on your PC to the latest v7 and still have you music. All new i-pods require the latest i-tunes.
If you are only interested in music (no video) the new i-pod nano is the best. I have the silver one. |

if your music isn't bought off of iTunes or somewhere like that , you might have to find your own album artwork _________________ A fan of "that French backhand dude"

Limewire is also a good source for I-pod songs. Btw, I have the identical Nano.
Now here is my question: my I-tunes is gone and I lost all my data and songs as my hard disk is a goner. My stuff is still in the I-pod though.
I have installed fresh I-tunes (without any songs) on another computer. However, I am afraid to connect the I-pod because I am afraid that syncing may erase everything on the I-pod. How do I ensure that this don't happen and all data is transferred from the I-pod to the I-tunes/computer? |

You will need a special program to try and get the songs off your Ipod. Make sure that if your iPod is formatted for a PC that you don't plug it into a Mac and then sync it or else you will lose all your data. Otherwise you should be fine. While you're at it you should check out my band "Drum Breaks."
