I guess he's being wise though. He needs to take a physical (and mental) break.... _________________ "Satan is behind Illegal Immigration."- Don Larson, Utah County Republican Tennis Wallpapers, presented by leftys_rock and myself
Come to think of it, probably not. He might enter 's-Hertogenbosch or Nottingham, but I highly doubt it, for they take too much time... oh, perhaps he'll enter that Kooyong-like small tournament right before (forget what it's called, but Andre played in it last year). _________________ "Satan is behind Illegal Immigration."- Don Larson, Utah County Republican Tennis Wallpapers, presented by leftys_rock and myself
Kohlschreiber (defeated Blake) vs. Baghdatis
Berdych vs. Nieminen (might be quite interesting) _________________ "Satan is behind Illegal Immigration."- Don Larson, Utah County Republican Tennis Wallpapers, presented by leftys_rock and myself
Fourth-seeded Czech Tomas Berdych dropped just two points on his first serve in a 7-5, 6-4 win over eighth seed Marcos Baghdatis to win the Halle title, one year after finishing runner-up to Roger Federer.
Berdych, 21, clinched his first title since winning ATP Masters Series Paris in late 2005. It was his third career title.
Berdych won 35 of 37 first-serve points, including his first 14 first-serve points. Yet in the 10th game of the first set he had to stave off two set points on his own serve to level the match at 5-5.
Berdych, who saved all three break points against him, improved to 26-13 on the year while Baghdatis slipped to 28-13.
Baghdatis, who was celebrating his 22nd birthday, was appearing in his third final of the year, having won Zagreb and finished runner-up in Marseille.
