How will Mauresmo fare in defending her grand slams?
Can Justine Henin-Hardenne match her 2006 year of making all major finals?
Will Maria Sharapova build on her second half of 2006 with more slam titles in 07?
How will Clijsters do in her final year on tour?
What will happen to American women's tennis in 2007?
Will the Williams sisters be a force throughout the season even with low rankings?
Which other players will challenge the current top 3 of Henin-Hardenne, Sharapova, and Mauresmo?
Which players will hold #1 throughout the year?

GS winners of 06! Mauresmo(AO, Wimbledon), Henin-Hardenne(FO), Sharapova(USO), Federer(AO, Wimbledon, USO), and Nadal(FO)
Mauresmo will win one, but I'm not sure she'll repeat what she did last year. Justine making all four finals would be a bit surprising (to do it twice in a row), but I think no one will be shocked if she does.
Sharapova will definitely have her real break out year, in my opinion. She will be seriously contending for the number 1 ranking. How will Mauresmo fare in defending her grand slams? - she will have a very good chance at Wimbledon. not sure about the Aussie though.
Can Justine Henin-Hardenne match her 2006 year of making all major finals? no.
Will Maria Sharapova build on her second half of 2006 with more slam titles in 07? maybe a final, but I can't see her winning another Slam next season.
How will Clijsters do in her final year on tour? little.
What will happen to American women's tennis in 2007? Jackson will crack the top 40, King could as well.
Will the Williams sisters be a force throughout the season even with low rankings? no consistently.
Which other players will challenge the current top 3 of Henin-Hardenne, Sharapova, and Mauresmo? Ivanovic, Golovin, Vaidisova, Dementieva.
Which players will hold #1 throughout the year? Mauresmo _________________

How will Mauresmo fare in defending her grand slams? She will be right there in the mix to capture a slam or even maybe two.
Can Justine Henin-Hardenne match her 2006 year of making all major finals? I think she can
Will Maria Sharapova build on her second half of 2006 with more slam titles in 07? Maria is probably good for at least 1 Slam
How will Clijsters do in her final year on tour? I just hope she gets through the year with no injuries and can have a good going out of the tour.
What will happen to American women's tennis in 2007? The US really need a some of these young Americans to start reaching there potential. W/O Lindsey, and you never know what you'll get from Serena & Venus and Jenny not coming back as of yet it could be a long time until the USA reaches dominances.
