That's not great news for Belgium, since if Belgium chooses, they would probably pick clay. I guess they will have to rely solely on Henin-Hardenne if that happens.

If both Kim & Justine decide not to play the US chances have just sky rocketed.

if Davenport plays regardless of H-H the USA will be the favorite. Lindsay will desroy the other Belgian player and if Jackson plays she should be able to beat that player too. Than most likely Davenport will play doubles with very likely Mariou (sp?) and will be the favorites in the doubles match.

I hope Davenport, Venus, Moriau, and Raymond all decide to play then we would be dominant.

Venus is almost certain she will miss the Fed Cup semifinal against Belgium next month. That will REALLY weaken the US team.

That's not good for US...I doubt Jackson can beat Clijsters and Henin-Hardenne.
