I used to be a big fan of JHH until the fiasco Down Under. One thing that bothered me last wk. was were was all the emotion there compared to how animated she looked after winning some big matches for her country in Fed Cup. Every photo of her I saw she's smiling, pumped up, etc. and I couldn't help but wonder where was all this fighting spirit or even the ability to do the right thing in the AO final and at least concede the match to Mauresmo the right way by at least finishing the match. I know that firestorm has resided (I think she got off way to easy, outside of JHH haters) and still can't believe the toughest fighter in the women's game put in the such a lame effort in the 3rd or 4th biggest tourney in the world.
I know both events and matches are very different but it's very hard of me to look at her the same way and she used to be my favorite women's player. Still very talented but character wise, she leaves a lot to the imagination. It's great for Belgium that she finally decided to play Fed Cup again but to me she JHH is or has turned into a great example of the selfish, aloof, distant modern day tennis player that most sports fans can't stand!

That is very similar to what I used to feel like. I really liked JHH until that incident at RG 2003. I used to be quite big Hewitt fan, but I dont like him much anymore either after seeing some of his horrible antics on court...swearing at opponents, it's bad for sports...
