Perhaps she's afraid the opponent will throw the racquet and misaim. Laughing

Then she would need a catcher's helmet and body protection too. Laughing And why not the goalie gloves? Laughing

She already has the racquet to do that, right? I just hope her reflexes are quick, then. Laughing

At least she took the heat off Serena for being badly dressed. I think it is good to see someone willing to dress differently.

I cannot believe how easily Serena is winning. Do you guys think she can actually do this or what?

If she puts her mind to it and keeps cool she can win this (and make more winners than UFE). Because when the Willams come to play there the best around

She faces a tougher opponent in Zvonareva tomorrow, but I think she should get through that one. She has been in much better form than I thought she would have been! Serena always surprises us. Laughing

I have no doubt Serena will win this event, and many more to come for a few months. My only question is how long will this last? To be honest it would not be out of the question for her to dominate for a few months then leave again.

Well, if Schnyder makes many errors (as she sometimes does), Serena can beat her easily...I'm surprised how well Serena's doing.

Zvonareva wins, 6-2, 6-3. It was a nice comeback event for Serena though.
