It looks as though two newer string brands have come up with some nice looking products, Pro Kennex has debuted with three new strings. Their IQ Elite will probably be their "flagship" string since the Elite is an arm friendly multifilament, mainly because their primary purpose is to help people with tennis elbow as seen by their claims that their kinetic and ionic racquets are the "Ultimate Solution To Tennis Elbow", but they have also come up with a synthetic gut in their IQ Qualifier, and a co-poly string in the IQ Poly. Another brand that sparked this week is Leopard. Leopard has come up with a new string called the Plus Control, which is a co-poly string that is more powerful than some other polyester based strings.
...Also Kirschbaum came up with a new co-poly as well, the P2 which provide durability and comfort (in comparison to the co-poly strings that are really harsh on the arm) _________________ A fan of "that French backhand dude"

Leopard must be a new company...is it? I've never heard of it.... _________________ "Satan is behind Illegal Immigration."- Don Larson, Utah County Republican Tennis Wallpapers, presented by leftys_rock and myself
Leopard looks like a new company, but the description makes it sound a lot like Signum Pro Poly Plasma. _________________ A fan of "that French backhand dude"

Although I assume many know about Nadal's strings, a European tennis website has his strings available to the public.
For those that do not know, his strings are called the Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour, and they have taken the concept of the Luxilon 5-star but instead of five sides, it has eight. which makes a lot of sense since Nadal has a LOT of spin. The strings have to help a little i guess
Looks very tempting, when it comes out here in North America I would really want to try that stuff. _________________ A fan of "that French backhand dude"

It might be interesting, but the question is, is everyone's game an attempt to hit the ball as heavy as possible? I wouldn't recommend it to hard hitters...it's worth a try though. _________________ "Satan is behind Illegal Immigration."- Don Larson, Utah County Republican Tennis Wallpapers, presented by leftys_rock and myself

It's also under another name Duralast. Different names for Europe and America _________________
I got my racquets strung with Wilson NXT Duo today. It's a hybrid between a Wilson polyester and Wilson NXT. It feels pretty good just bouncing the ball up and down... _________________ "Satan is behind Illegal Immigration."- Don Larson, Utah County Republican Tennis Wallpapers, presented by leftys_rock and myself
They didn't have this string when I went to get my racquet restrung. If I get it strung again, i'll try it out. _________________ www.freewebs.com/tenniswallpapers by myself and x.doublea

Well....
i think Blake's "experimental" has finally made its debut in o3 form. I haven't been on the computer much lately, but i just saw this on TW (sorry, i know its annoying) Prince has debuted their newest o3 racquet the "o3 hybrid tour"
Thanks Benchwarmer for the link. We'll have to look out for that racquet at the Open, that's for sure. Is Blake using it at New Haven? _________________ "Satan is behind Illegal Immigration."- Don Larson, Utah County Republican Tennis Wallpapers, presented by leftys_rock and myself
a couple of "new" racquets has shown themselves in TW, this time a an offering from Tecnifibre. Both the Tecnifibre 320, and the and the 335 are player's racquets with the choice of either a 16x20 or 18x20 string pattern. The concept is the same for both, a nice midplus racquet (97 sq. inches), just with a weight difference, the 335 is 12.4, while the 320 is is about 11.7, both should be very manuverable with the 320 at 8 pts HL, and the 335 at 10 pts HL.
Thanks for the heads up. The 335 is nevertheless more demanding than the 320 then. 320 suited better probably for serve and volleyers..... _________________ "Satan is behind Illegal Immigration."- Don Larson, Utah County Republican Tennis Wallpapers, presented by leftys_rock and myself
I know this post doesn't belong here, but I couldn't find the proper topic.... Obviously, the new AirFlow racquets aren't too good. At the Kid's Day at the US Open, Graf didn't just not use the AirFlow- she didn't even bother to use a paintjob. Just used a Radical....
