I am liking the way the game is going right now, the picks are so diverse. I think PSALT has the pick of the bunch so far: Amelie Mauresmo..25 points from one match, mightily impressive. My ATP team seem to be doing really well, all winning their first round matches in straight sets!

It is going well, it will be intersting to see who wins this as it is very individual and thought-out. I like dav's and PSALT's picks overall.

And one of the bargain buys has fell really short, the first disaster mistake on the market; Schiavone!!

too bad about Schiavone. It also looks like my Stosur pick isn't going to work out. I had picked her because she was the only person I could afford who I though would win. i had picked Mirza to lose to Dementieva but she is dominating right now. Stosur plays Mauresmo while Mirza plays Shaugnessy, not good!

I'm not going to sub anyone yet. 4 of my 5 from each tour have won their openers, and I have made it so I've spent exactly 25 million, so it will be hard to switch the last player. NEA, what are the point values for rounds?

I am just absolutely confused by this, so I will just take a month to get the hang of this. Laughing

NEA, I had sent you two subs (one Mirza-Stosur and the other Rochus-Tursonav) I sent both of them before their matches. Stosur is now playing, if she wins will I still get the points?

Lol...yes, because I will change the subs now BEFORE I update rankings. I just work with whatever teams I have, make the subs, and then look at all of the days results. So, whatever team is in front of me will get the points. I am making your subs now PSALT, so after that I will look at the score and you will get Stosur's points...it averages out because you will NOT get the points for your previous selections.

leftys: what exactly do you not understand?

stevos: check the "How to Play" topic, there is a link and that show the exact points you will get...it is the same as Fantasy Tennis Pool.

BTW, I have already calculated Tursnov's round one match, I am presuming you are on about his second-round match?

I am pleased with my picks so far, 9 out of 10 have won their first match. It was such a shame Kveta Peschke didn't win. She played very well against Kuznetsova and looked like Davenport the way she hit the ball so flat. I will be subbing her now when I find someone suitable. It's frustrating when they don't win in straight sets Mad

I know! I will be subbing Peschke aswell, remember everyone get your picks in today for them to take action TOMORROW! As soon as play starts tomorrow no more substitutes will be done until after play finishes! So get them in, I am sure there are many that need doing!

I am going out on a limb and subbing Likhovtseva for Schiavone. I am picking Likhovtseva to upset Dementieva.

It took me forever to think of a sub. All the people I wanted to sub had either lost, or would lose in the next round! I finally settled on Likhovtseva because I was pretty sure she would beat Sun, and was hoping she would be Dementieva.

I cannot get the sub at all! It is impossible...damn it!
