funny thing is i've never played on grass. and you've never played on clay. which is kind of uncomom

i havent played on clay, grass, or rebound ace...its very sad....there arent any multi surface tennis clubs around here....i should try asking my coach if he could try having a clay court built or something....

Yes, I know. the only place I know which is close to home and has red clay recquires a really expensive membership to get in, and I don't have any friends who play tennis there.

...but I love grass. I love how fast the surface is and how low my slices bounce.

But, I think I would enjoy clay as well, since I'm more of an all-court player. Well, I can afford the membership to get into this club, but I would probably go like twice a month, so it would not be worth it.

i dont know how my game could be on grass, but i think my game is good on clay...im pretty fast and i hit with a lot of topspin...

I think all-courters like me can have good games on all surfaces; it's a matter of excelling all them, which is extremely difficult.

yeah...the thing is, if there were multiple surfaces in clubs, then more americans could be all courters, and we wouldnt always suck on clay....

yeah, grass is really hard to maintain....i really wish when the courts were remodeled at my club, that they could have added a clay court....that would have been really nice....

Yes, hard courts tend to get the most abuse because people just don't think that hard courts need maintanence.

Yes. I played at a school wherer there were basically little shrubs groing in the middle of all 6 courts.
