PSALT, remember that thread me and NEA were having a little fight over, I think when x said something about George Bush. No one has been talking about tennis vids for a while on this thread, and political debates are interesting, so I say debate on!
Sounds like we've got a tussle here. First of all, gay marriage is not considered a "right", and you say Harper will not allow it, or put it away, but he is having an open vote on the subject, which is the best way to have democracy, is it not? Martin is EVIL, you know the details of the sponsorship scandal so I dont have to spell it out for you. He was the FINANCE MINISTER at the time, he obviously had something to do with it. Harper did not bribe, the child-care issue was hardly a factor in the vote, the main factor was the need for a change, and the horribly fading liberal government. They made so many mistakes, and the Conservatives pulled off an almost flawless campaign. The media got behind the tories, and that was that, it was obvious who the media began supporting.
I agree, let's continue.
Harper not evil? Bloody hell, Harper was a man the press called evil when he was part of the Canadian Alliance and the Reform Party. The only reason why Harper has to put the gay issue into the House of Commons for a vote is because he doesn't have the power to make the decision himself because it's a democracy. Like, you can't call Martin evil without having Harper come before him. And, Harper certainly did bribe Chinese-Canadians with the $20 000 and mothers with the $500. There's no reason why people who are in dire nead of the Liberals or even the NDP (left wing) vote for an extremest right wing party pushing Canada closer and closer to the style of the evil Bush administration. All Harper's bringing now is quick-fix solutions that do not bring the best results possible. And the Conservatives have nothing good to say in the House: all they say is "We play by the rules" and "We aren't dirty" and stuff like that. As they said, the Liberal era (and Martin) s now gone...is that all they have good to say about their government?
And the Conservative campaign was not flawless. It's just the press focused entirely on the Conservative campaign- on 680 News, I didn't here of one Liberal platform brought out. You mean to rip DVD videos? I think there are programs out there that do that. Okay, quick response, more to come, but Martin didnt bring OUT any platforms. He just thought he could slide by to the win by being the "amazing liberal party of Canada". I hate how so many canadians think being conservative is so american, therefore terrible! Obviously america is doing well, oh no we're moving to close to the americans! Save us!
No, being American is perfectly fine (although Manifist Destiny is far from extinct), but it's becoming fascist and dictatorial which is a problem. Harper and Bush both come from the same school of thought- no PM-President has got along this well since Raegan-Mulroney. This is exclusively because they are both right-wing fascists, basically. And, I'm sorry to all Americans on this board, but America's in an absolute mess right now. Many are afraid of "Muslim-Extremist Terrorist Attacks". I'm sorry, but we (Americans and Canadians) whine at single terrorist attacks, which is perfectly normal, as I sort of did as well (although the recent terrorist 'attemps' might have been orchestrated to divert attention from the Bilderberg Group meeting in Ottawa), but the US government fails to recognize that they are terrorists- total abuse of Middle East nations. Searching for terrorists is simply an excuse- the US government has terrorized countries such as Iraq, and now, they are slowly building an empire without the citizens of American even knowing.
And the Liberals did bring out a platform; it's just the press totally ignored the platforms and focused almost exclusively on the Conservative platform. In my opinion, supporters of the former Progressive Conservatives shouldn't even support the Conservatives now- the Conservatives are way more Canadian Alliance (right wing extremists) than PCs, who were much closer to centre.

I don't think you can directly send the match from the DVR machine to the computer. It burns the match to a DVD, right? There are programs out there that can rip the contents of the DVD right onto the computer. You can do that and then load it on megaupload. Because I think it would be great if we didn't have to migrate over to WTAworld for videos. Because santhruuu on that forum says that it takes a lot of equipment to get the videos onto the computer and then onto megaupload.
