They really don't have much of a stroke. I have actually played in tournaments where I have seen coaches tell there players to play like that. That is sad.

Pushers are very tough to play, simply because they give you absolutely no angles or pace to work with. However, I think coming to the net will award you easy points, because pushers don't really like passing players.

I agree with just about everyone. The placement of the serve is what is most effective. it gets your opponent off balance and makes the rest of the points much easier for you.

Yeah, without placement a server can become very predictable with a power serve that lands in the same place over and over again.

...and more and more players are now catching onto Roddick's serve. It is getting predictable and people are blocking it back and gradually get into the point.

If they block it back to his backhand there's a good chance he could make an error on the next point with the way his backhand is.

yeah, he cant win with his "big serve, big forehand" techinque if he keeps getting his return on his backhand.....unless he improves his backhand, which is not likely.....

I vote for placment. That is so importent in taking advantege earley in point. I also like spin on my sekond serve.

once, u have mastered how to place ur serve, then u can focus on power and spin....

that is right my first serve is a flat power serve or what i call powerfull and my second serve is were i use spin. Most kids i play canot handle the spin serve.
