The Bryan Bros will be the only ones to win if Safin & Davydenko come to play in my opinion.

The US would have to hope Roddick and Blake suddenly know how to play on clay. Otherwise, the score of 4-1 Russia is quite likely.

Probably, considering that they did well against Croatia.

The Russian coach would probably want to save Safin and Davydenko's energy anyways.

Outside of the Bryan bros, the U.S. chances against Russia on clay are very, very bleak. Maybe if Blake can get some decent results on clay or Ginepri, who should be perfect for that service, actually wins some matches iduring the clay court season, it could get interesting. But there's no way Roddick is winning any important matches on that surface. That's why unfortunately this team could never win the Cup. As soon as it goes to clay, there toast.
