Ok. I have been thinking...and as usual, I have come up with an idea.

Percy, I think you are doing an EXCEPTIONAL job at running this forum, I mean it. I have absolutely NO idea where you get the time from, well done.

I don't think you NEED any help. However, if this forum is to continue to grow as it is, I think you DESERVE someone to take a little bit of the work off of your shoulders.

I think you should stick to running EVERYTHING, however, with bits of help here and there. As you have already seen, I have suggested lots of thing to help improve Fantasy Tennis, as have other members, and together we came up with the interview idea.

What I propose is that some KIND of council is formed. I think 'council' is a term being branded about here and there, but what I suggest is more "helpers" that can deal with certain MINOR areas of the site, that would simply help you out. Personally, I KNOW you can handle it by yourself, however, if this forum continue growing at this rate the less work you have to do the more you can concentrate on IMPROVING it. Right?

So, you may have not fully understood what I meant by helpers with minor bits of the site, here is a perfect example:

The Fantasy Tennis situation, you could assing somebody to deal solely with the interviews. It is a minor part that you needn't bother with. However, that person must have your consent and you are OBVIOUSLY in charge at all times. I just feel that, it would help you and also help more people get involved in the site...a win/win situation.

Tell me what you think?

That is a great idea N_E_A. I agree, the forum is growing, and the fantasy tennis needs alot of attention. Percy has obviously put ALOT of work, effort and thought into creating fantasy tennis (all of the players, tournaments etc. ), aswell as the fantasy pool...

The fantasy tennis must have taking a lot of time for Percy. I agree he should let someone take a little of the load off his back as the site is continuing to grow.

Alright, well here's the situation. I am fine runnig the Fantasy Tennis League completely on my own. This makes it actually easier for me to organize things and make sure everything is on track. I will however begin "elections" for this council or "helpers", and they can help me and the forum by keeping things is check. They will have powers such as the ability to delete and move posts, something which takes a lot of time. They can (as can anyone) bring issues to my attention if things need discussing. Elections will be held every few weeks or so, so people can re-elect the same people or chose different ones if they think they have done a good job. If this sounds good, I will post the 'terms' for being elected, etc.

The thing with PSALT was pretty much to the letter in terms of what I was talking about...limited actions that HELP you...but still completely under your rule. Good job.

As for elections, are they necesary? The thing with PSALT showed it doesn't particularly matter, you can choose, or people can volunteer, as long as that person is willing and able.

Yes, but this will be different. These 3 members will have moderating powers over certain sections, divided up between them, and they will disucss things about improving or helping the forum. Because they are not jsut doing a "job" and are basically representing the forum, they should be chosen by the member of the forum. There will be re-elections too to make sure everyone is happy. I will also have "veto" power if for osme reason someone is elected who I absolutely do not want (although I can't imagine this happening). Everyone can vote for 3 people (you can change your vote if you want) and I will calculate the votes. So to respect privacy, all votes will be sent to me by Private Messages. I will announce when the voting process begins.
