Australia are already into the SF, winning the doubles in 5 sets.

I think the US should push on now and win. I dont think they are taking advantage of what is a great team: both singles players in top 10, number 1 doubles team. That loss from Blake was really bad. The US had the chance to win the tie today. They have the best team out there, and still being pushed. Hopefully the Bryans will take a 2-1 lead.

GB are 1-2 down now, after Murray/Rusedski lost to Bozoljac/Zimonjic in 4 sets. The match was very poor from the British team. Rusedski hardly made any returns and Murray struggled with his serve. There were a few bad calls etc. ... Anyway I hope Rusedski will bounce back to beat Djokovic tommorow.

wow..... I was watching France-Russia this morning, they are playing in France. If you know that there have been many protests in France over a new Labor Law. Multiple times people ran on to the court disrupting play. Overall the French crowd was pretty poor.

They usually are like that. It should be no problem for Safin, who played and won the final in 2002.

The French should be a bit disgusted at that because it's sort of a national disgrace....to do that when a sports team from a different country visits.

Very comfortable win for the Bryans. I can understand the Chilean captian's decision for not playing his best doubles team. I think the Bryans would have beaten them aswell, and Gonzalez and Massu are well rested for the singles tommorow.

True, although I think The Bryans actually lost to Gonzalez/Massu at the Olympics.

Yes they did lose to them, but the Bryans also beat them at the A.Open that year, and the US Open last year...

That's true....However, Gonzalez and Massu seem to play their best when they play for their country.

James Blake was upset 6-3 6-4 by Paul Capdeville. This is bad for Blake, who has a difficult claycourt season ahead of him. He is the 2nd seed in Houston tommorow, Andy is the 1st.

Yes....really, the only accomplished clay-courter is Agassi, and we all know he won't play on clay.
