Blake was just broken, so the score's now 76 60 55 against Gonzalez.

Roddick will have to wait another set for his match against Massu, as Gonzalez has just beaten Blake in a tiebreak 72 to make it two sets to one for Blake.

suprising. I am not worried though, I doubt Roddick will be challenged by Massu.

What a bad, bad loss for Blake. This is now the 2nd time the USA have started their tie with a 5-set loss having been 2-0 up. This is very frustrating. A loss like this can just knock Blake off his good run of form and he could fall away for the rest of the year (especially with the claycourt season next week onwards). Hopefully Roddick will pick the team up.

Apparently Marat Safin is back to his best, which is great, the game needs him at the top again. Him and Davydenko both won their matches, but Davydenko got injured near the end. Even Amelie Mauresmo was watching in the arena. France will probably win the doubles tommorow (Clement & Llodra, very good pair). If Safin is playing his best, he will be a huge threat during the next months.

Chris Guccione beat Max Mirnyi in 5 sets, and Lleyton Hewitt thrashed Vladimir Voltchkov to give Australia a 2-0 lead. Im glad Hewitt won, after the arrogant comments from Voltchkov before the match. Doubles should be good with 2 top 10 players against each other.

Ljubicic did very well coming back. Shame for Calleri though, but this shows how mentally improved Ljubicic has become. Nalbandian rolled through his match. Ljubicic may be pairing Marin Cilic in the doubles, against Nalbandian and Calleri/Acasuso ? ...

It wasent that bad, but he was saying thet Hewitt didnt have any weapons that could trouble Voltchkov, which is completely untrue. He just seemed a bit arrogant. I may be wrong though.

I'm not sure Davydenko got injured. It might have gamesmanship, he took an injury timeout at 3-2 in the tiebreak before Clements serve....

The US should win 41, I think, but as it was proven today, anything can happen.

I dont think Davydenko is really like that. He had very bad cramping problems at the beginning of the tie-break. I dont think Davydenko is the type to take an injury time-out for no reason.
