Can you expand on that?....perhaps in new thread. I'm interested to know why you feel that way.

Congrats to Djokovic Very Happy he won Miami, beating Canas 6-3 6-2 6-4 Cool

I won't comment on the 'Murray had an injury' comments. From the way Murray acts, he has an injury in practically every match he plays. It's funny seeing him drag his feet, wince in pain while holding his back inbetween points. While he is still fresh as a daisy during points. Rolling Eyes

Novak really played well. Bringing it to Canas. I hope Roger watched this match.

Great win for Djokovic (I'm surprised that they played best 3 out of 5...). I'm sure he has more to give this year... really dangerous player.

Rattler, I'll create a new thread so we can discuss this.

I meant the Madrid and Indian Wells meetings....Murray was injured (very badly at Indian Wells). At least Murray's 'pretending to be injured' doesn't effect play, unlike Djokovic's excessively long ball bouncing.

Laughing You honestly don't think that more than one opponents hasn't been effected by Murray acting like his body is falling apart?

I have never seen an opponent complain or in any way show they are annoyed by how long Djokovic bounces a ball. He does not hold up play with it. So what is the problem?

Honestly, I don't think Murray fakes any of this pain. First off, Brad Gilbert, surely, would not condone it. Second, players usually forget about the injury during the point. Remember Baghdatis's cramp vs. Agassi? He was hit jumping backhand winners (his movement was affected).

Djokovic, I think, is the type which retires when he is in any sort of pain. He did so at Roland Garros. I was not impressed.

Brad has also shown signs annoyance at Murray screaming at him during matches. Murray still does it. So whether or not Gilbert condones it or not, I don't think matters.

It's not like this is a one match, or even one event thing. He does it EVERY match he plays almost. If he truly is in pain this often, I hope he retires soon. His body will be a wreck if he plays a 10 year career if it is this bad already.

Murray does not fake injury, he is a good sportsman. He looks frustrated and may shout when things don't go his way, but he is not faking injuries. In his recent Indian Wells-Miami matches, he has actually been very badly injured at times. I think it is better for the tour to have someone who expresses their emotions. Murray is a good, mature personality for the game and a very interesting character.

Djokovic's excessive ball bouncing before the point does distract opponents, I have seen it before. Not only does it do that, it also makes him very boring to watch,

I do agree, someone who is not afraid to show some emotion is much better for tennis than an emotionless robot. Murray goes TOO far sometimes, however. His screaming at Gilbert is an example. What good does that do, for one? Then also, I truly doubt the crowd appreciates that.

Murray does seem to have an injury this time, he might not play Davis Cup. So many other times however, he drags his feet between points, holds his back, winces, grabs his leg, etc., etc. Then during points, his movement is never affected, nor will his shots have declined in pace or control. He does that often.

Does he go past the time limit? If not, he is well within his rights to keep bouncing the ball as many times as his heart desires. I have never heard of him getting a time violation, no?

It seems that Murray's injury demanor is kind of a way to deal with the fustration. I'm not saying he fakes, completely. But when things aren't going his way he starts b*itch and moan about. His mind will make blame it on an "injury". I think some of the time his "injuries" (pull on the leg, feeling his arm whatever it might be) are out of fustration
