The title is Ana's and you know it. Rolling Eyes

Steffi will choke, and Lindsay will never win a Slam until she loses some weight. It's something seeing all her fat wobble while she runs. Rolling Eyes Wink

Sydney Quarter-Finals: (1) Steffi Graf vs Venus Williams

(1) Steffi Graf dfts Venus Williams 6-3 6-4

Steffi is back to winning ways with a solid performance. She outclassed Venus with time aggression and consistency. Good performance from our world number one.

Sydney Quarter-Finals: Justine Henin vs Elena Dementieva

Elena Dementieva dfts Justine Henin 6-4 6-3

I don't know how much research Justine's coach did but she clearly wasn't prepared for Elena today. She has to work a tad harder but she is heading in the right direction which is a positive; Elena is just a dangerous player. Henin should look to add a little more consistency at the beginning of her set for the Australian Open but she isn't too far off.

Sydney Quarter-Finals: (4) Lindsay Davenport vs (5) Serena Williams

Serena Williams repeats the Hobart Final with a titanic battle: 5-7 6-4 6-4.

Lindsay needs to work harder, this result will be dissapointing and she ought to send new points for the Australian Open! Serena is looking good.

Sydney Quarter-Finals: (8 ) Kim Cljisters vs (2) Ana Ivanovic

(2) Ana Ivanovic dfts (8 ) Kim Cljisters 6-4 3-6 6-4

Kim's first and third sets are too simple-minded to beat a good player like Ana. She has too vary it a lot more and cut out the ridiculous amount of errors. She needs to think hard for the Australian Open, not rush her strategy! That second set is incredible though and remains unbeaten. She will be pleased with that!

Darn! Evil or Very Mad Kim lost to Ana....

I guess since Kim's first and third sets are simple, then Martina's must really be out of touch!

Anyhow, back to the drawing board for sets 1 and 3....

Second set is solid: 5-0 Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

This WTT is growing on me! Laughing

You all need to learn from Steffi - fair enough, she lost in a Tier III but when the Tier I comes around what does she do? Takes it seriously, practices hard and raises her game. Ana, Lindsay, all of you guys...this is a Tier I; not trying here means you get overtaken in the rankings. Think about it.

As seen as Ana never sent new points I will not grace this Semi-Final with live scoring. It is the same result as last week which means our real top two players will meet in the first Tier I Final:

(5) Serena Williams dfts (2) Ana Ivanovic 6-4 7-5

Final will be later tonight.

Australian Open thread will be up tonight/tomorrow! There is going to be some exciting things going on; Doubles and Mixed Doubles. Live Scoring for every round. Previews for every round. etc etc. Just generally better than any other tournament thus far! So I want everyone to send points. Therefore, you will have about a week to send points (singles, doubles and mixed doubles)!!!

That WGTA set worked out great, Aussie is Ana's. Cool

Sure, PSALT, sure. Anyway; everyone should take note of the live scoring if they draw Steffi or Serena, refer back to this match. It is a golden opportunity to see how they play. Capiche?

The Final is coming up now...who will be our first Tier I champion??
