Percy896's Tennis Forum This is a new tennis forum to discuss professional tennis, vote and create polls, and ask advice about equipment, fitness, or anything regarding tennis! Now with a new Fantasy Tennis League!
I agree with stevos, I have alot more respect for someone who does what they like and doesn't care what others think. But anyway, on the forum he does alot, and he sounds like a very talented musician!
I do have to say x.doublea that you are truely a great asset to our forum. You have shown tremendous maturity over the past year or so that I've known you and the way you dealt with Kellygirl was just outstanding, and is once again an example of your maturity at such a young age. I'm very glad you are here . _________________ -Site Admin
Just to let you guys know, in real life, I am the farthest thing there is from 'cool'. I'm totally against modern teenage clothing (all I basically wear are sweatpants, tennis shirts, and a BMW 'X3' sweatshirt... school uniform for school), don't listen to the popular music, etc, and I use slang (like, 'Yo', 'hot' , etc. ) very little. Plus, which cool person listens to opera?
Thats what makes a person cool, someone that doesn't care about what other kids do. (at least the way I see it)
You just wait, soon everyone is going to be listening to opera, just cus you are and you dont care what other people do.
Also, you are probably pretty smart, so when you're a millionaire with a hot wife, you can look back on your teenage years and be like "who the hell cared?"
stevos, thanks for the huge compliment, and I really mean it. You got it right on the dot (in terms of the my not caring what others think/do). When I was younger, this actually gave me a bit of an arrogant, (pardon my language) ass-hole kind of personality when I interacted with various people. Thank g*d I changed....
About the millionaire thing, I hope. It just so happens that the two careers I am mainly looking into (architecture & music/opera) are, unfortunately, both pretty low paying when you put into the account how much effort it takes to do a good job. And, about the opera popularity, one can only hope.
Nice, I can't imagine you being arrogant today, well I guess I kind of could. People do change I guess.
But I thought architecture was a high-paying job? And if you do well in music it can pay off, but for sure it is a risky business to get into.
You can do it though!

I hope I can (I'm having trouble in deciding which to try)... apparently, if you compare how much effort that goes into architecture to how much you get paid, it's one of the lowest. But thanks for believing in me!
And, yes, I was quite the arrogant character. I think I let my achievements get ahead of me. _________________ "Satan is behind Illegal Immigration."- Don Larson, Utah County Republican Tennis Wallpapers, presented by leftys_rock and myself

Well, Percy, I have to thank you for coming up with the idea of this forum. Stumbling on this forum a year was one of the best things that happened to me this past year. I have met many fantastic friends here, both younger and older then myself, and I feel that we have become a family, so to speak. My so-called increased maturity, I believe, has come through this forum, and I really mean that truthfully. Thank you, Percy. _________________ "Satan is behind Illegal Immigration."- Don Larson, Utah County Republican Tennis Wallpapers, presented by leftys_rock and myself

I'll hug you Viv!
I'm not a jerk.
But no, x is right, I do feel like I know you guys pretty well. Even though I am extremely close with my friends and family here, it is cool to know you guys all around the world and stuff.

Yeah, it's great knowing all the people on here very well. Even though we might not know each other personally, it feels like all of us are on "family" terms.
