It's good that you guys are only doing WTA next year... gives me a better chance in the ATP section. Wink

What's the point if it's Federer, Federer, Federer in the fast surfaces and Nadal, Nadal, Nadal on clay? Laughing We'll all be tied!

No, the little events will make a difference, but it won't be QUITE as competitive as the women's side.

I was actually saying that I would never just stick to them. Wink

Yes, but that happens when they pull out or something odd happens, like Cinncinati. But they're usually a relatively safe bet. Laughing

All I can say is that I hope someone challenges Federer soon. Roddick gives me some hope, but I just wonder if he can keep it up. Yes, Federer has a beautiful game, but how long must we sit through this? This has went from a pleasant 'it will be over soon, it's no problem' kind of reign, to something I want to fast-foward out of.

I can't really see him dropping significantly in level for a few years. His game doesn't really cause much injury, and barring a freak accident, he should be at the top for at least 2 years.

that's what I fear. he can keep winning Slams, more power to him, but my God, can he atleast lose the No.1 ranking, and win 1 Slam, two max. a year from here on out? atleast then we could watch an event with him in it and not know the winner before the first ball is hit.

I don't see any of the current top-8 challenging him, but I am hoping that this will come from the younger players like Baghdatis, Ancic, Gasquet, Djorkovic, Murray etc.

Like PSALT said, Roddick can and Nadal is only 20 he can only get better, and agreeing with you, the young guns are going to have a breakthrough next season one way or another
