Tim Ryan is the worst commentator of any sport ever to walk the earth.

Okay, so I abstained from results (again) because the match just came on, at about 12:30 am, and it was not all I hoped it to be

I hate to switch it up so much, but I am starting to hate Federer. He is boring, and his constant winning is so monotonous and makes mens tennis so much worse, until clay comes!

Way to go Blake for getting to #4 in the rankings, thats really impressive, but Blake looked so negative in the second set, it was clear he was down and out.

When Federer plays INCREDIBLE tennis, (not like one of those sleeper sets where he wins it in a tiebreaker or something) like in the semis vs. Nadal, he played pretty darn good tennis. It was a pretty entertaining match anyway. But when Federer plays mind boggling tennis, it's very nice to watch. But in the early rounds of slams or something, he's so boring. Nothing at all except blocking the ball back and walks his way to a win "half asleep". But men's tennis has become so incredibly boring after Wimbledon. At least the women have 3 players who contest for titles instead of one.

Laughing That's ok, we make those kinds of mistakes a lot. I like Cliff a lot better than Dick anyway. Cliff is much more informative. (However, I wish he could pick up the pace of his speaking) Dick is just repeating lots of stats which have been said previously.

Well, Dick's a football commentator, is he not?

He was. He does both I think. But he is better than Tim Ryan. Golly, don't get me going on Tim Ryan. He can get about 20 things wrong in an hour long match. Rolling Eyes And he has such a droning monotonous voice.
I dislike Tim ryan. He is just getting so much stuff wrong and it's funny because Tracy Austin kept disagreeing with him or Tim got the facts wrong Rolling Eyes

If Fantasy Tennis Pool is starting afresh next year I might fancy a game. However, is there any chance of a separate WTA and ATP game, well just scores, and then an overall total. Because I cannot be bothered playing the ATP - Federer/Federer/Federer - and would just like to play the WTA. Thoughts leftys?

I wouldn't mind. Very Happy The ATP side would be quite boring though. PSALT will make it interesting with different picks. Laughing Razz Thanks for the thought! I think I will do it that way for next season. Smile

Um, I think that would work. NEA would probably only use his WTA ranking though. Razz

I would like the seperate ATP and WTA for fantasy tennis . It would make it more challenging and more fun.

Sure. Smile So we'll have three winners at the end of the year.

I also agree to separate them and then have a combined overall.

Leftys, for the ATP pool, please book me for Federer for any event he enters! Shocked Shocked Hahahaha!! Anyhow, despite of what PSALT and NEA think I will continue to pick Federer... and yes! I like the guy and enjoy watching his big matches when he makes it interesting with his incredible game. I agree that his early round matches are so boring.

You are not lazy... you just don't like Federer! Besides you are only going to pick Maria in WTA Wink
