the first was from an interview, a place I almost always joke in (I said I would go 5-0 in the YEC for example)

Oh please PSALT, you know Jbors and you were both very very confident and smack-talking. Even if it was a joke, you still believed you would do well because there was obviously good reason for you to do well.

You definitely got shut up going 0-5. I don't think I need to rub it in anymore, the record does it itself.

Good job x, we did well, 3-2, like I predicted.

And UK I expect many presents in the mail, maybe some tea? Thats the only british thing I can think of that would be of value at the moment. Maybe a crumpet perhaps? Wink

Woah. I am very disappointed in myself and PSALT. We played like absolute crap. Yes, I was very confident going in, but you all would have been too if you were in our position. We were both on fire towards the end, but we basically collapsed in Team Cup. I really would like an explanation from Percy to how this happened? Its kind of intriguing...

Entirely by chance. However in the season, there's factors of tiredness, slump, win streak etc.

I think that not displaying the confidence that prominently puts less pressure on yourself which makes you perform better. It makes you feel much better if you in fact do well.
