I'm seriously doubting whether Schiavone will ever get a title... now she's losing early. And, interesting to see Pierce in the mix of things again, defeating Sugiyama.

The pierce match was pretty good. I watched most of it on youtube. It was good to see not such hard-hitting and longer rallies.

That's terrible. After finally doing well again and on the verge of beating Zvonareva, she injures herself. It's really unfortunate.

She tore the front cruciate ligament. She needs surgery. This very unfortunately might be the end of Mary's career. Sad
