Why oh why Serena!!!She pulled out of Zurich!!!
After saying that “Up to now I’ve always had injuries which have stopped me playing, but now nothing should stand in the way of making my Zurich debut.”
Im sorry serena but your really starting to piss me off

I'm not sure why she's pulling out... is this a sign of nondedication, or is she tired? You never know with Serena....

yeah i know. She can't be tired since she hasn't played since the open. And she made everyone belive that she was planing on playing a few tournaments after the open in eruope. But it's still the same of bull shit

I said it before, and I will say it again, I wish she would make a decision, does she want to be a tennis player and play a real schedule, or does she want to retire? She keeps doing this, she plays for a little bit (Serena is back!), gets everybodies hopes up, then lets everybody down by being lazy.

I agree with PSALT on this one. She really needs to make her mind up she can't have both.

Pathetic, this is why I cant let myself be a big fan of serena. What a letdown. These poor tournament organizers. Did anyone else read her Tennis magazine interview?

I haven't had time to get it, but I suppose it's the same BS... probably the "I'm committed" stuff....

it's just sucks becuase i've been a fan of her's for so long now. And to see her not playing really sucks. Im not a fan of any other player like i am of hers. I just want her to play again.

I was a big fan of Serena when she was the little sister loosing to Venus all the time and continued to support her through her best years.... but then... it started by first feeling sorry for her injuries... which eventually turned into apathy. I gave up on her long time ago and now I could care less if she ever played again.
I am just disappointed for her fans like you Paco who continued to support her till now. I just hope that a new american will rise to the top in the near future.

Tennis needs more fans like Patrick... loyal fans. Sort of my loyalty to Andre, or Dave's loyalty to Davenport. I hate it when people switch favourite players all the time (the leaving of the Williams sisters are an exception, because I bet it's frustration). Like, I have a friend at school who liked someone (I forgot who) last year, and now likes Federer, just because "He's the best".

then, i'll stick with my picks, Gasquet, Berdych, and Kirilenko (hopefully she can pull the rabbit out of the hat and win some)

I don't usually give up on players and still like Venus and Davenport.
It is specifically Serena that I don't care for.

I just really like some players when I watch them, and then I like their personality, and relate my game to theirs. Then they become a favourite. I am loyal to Sharapova, although its not too hard right now is it? Other players like Jamea, Canadian players, I am still loyal to and follow all results.
On the mens side, players like Blake, and Murray I've really grown to like a lot, I am loyal, but for Federer, I mostly just think he is incredible and get on his side to bug the haters.

Well, I think everyone thought she would come back. She signed up for the tournaments (well, she got wild cards). Totally shame that she decides not to go....

Stevos you are "loyal" to about 3000 WTA players, but hopefully you have your true favourites. I hate people who like players after seeing them in one match. You liked the way they played then but you really don't know enough about them to be an actual fan. I have been loyal to Mauresmo for an age and loyal to Venus. I will admit I am not loyal to Serena but everytime she comes back I cannot help but cheer her on, so kind of loyal! I am especially loyal in my hatred of Henin though...Kuzy and Dementieva come after Amelie/Venus and I cannot see me going off them anytime soon!

he does have all kinds of favorites, but as far as I have seen he is only a true fan of Sharapova, Vaidisova, and Jackson.

Jackson?! That is a new one to me...what happened to Dementieva, I thought he was a fellow Elena fan, but whatever...

I remember he was actually happy when Jackson beat Sharapova in Birmingham.
Don't know about Elena, I don't see him talk about her much.

I like Elena, she's a fighter out there, but it is so danged hard to be a fan of hers! She loses to people that she shouldn't but beats people at such unexpected times!

Dead on. I enjoy watching a lot of WTA players. But really I like these three. I only have Dementieva in my sig cus shes gorgeous. I have my three favourites, but of course not every match contains one of them, so I will often root for one over the other. I am like you NEA, when Serena plays I really want her to win, but I refuse to get too excited because I know she would let me down. Same as Venus, on a lesser degree. I love Jamea's gameplay, she's really a cool player with loads of potential.
