Which is your favorite part of tennis season? So, which is your favorite? Mine is the pre USO hardcourt season. Lots of big tournaments and the time zone is suitable for me to watch live. I had too many post options, so I didn't have room to put the post USO indoor hard/carpet tourneys.

I voted US Open Hardcourt season because of the same reasons as you, but if it were a single tournament, it would be the AO.

Same here, I like the pre USO season because of time zone and lots of big events. My favorite signle tournament is Wimbledon, hands down. So much tradition....
Here is a funny piece from Bob Bryan's blog from Wimbledon:
I think we might have made history today at Wimbledon. We could have been the only players to ever practice on the main courts wearing colored clothes. I don't know how the spies didn't see us earlier. Eventually, 30 minutes into our practice, a woman ran out and put a stop to the "madness." We have been so used to practicing at Aorangi Park where there aren't as many rules. Wimbledon has strict regulations and I've heard that they'll only warn you once. Next time, it won't be a scolding, they'll just have a sniper take us out.

My choice is not avalible.
Pre-Roland Garros to Wimbly
Then the Hard court to US Open...the U.S. Open is always a tricky part of the year for me because I teach and its the begining of the semester...those late night matches have some consequences the next morning...thank God for Starbucks.
Following close at third would be the Indian Wells to Nasdaq stretch.
I love the Aussie Open...but that's why God created Tivo.

Mine is the pre-USO season, leading into my favorite major. But the most exciting time of the tennis season is the 4 wks of major action in 6 total wks. (F.O. and Wimbledon).

Mine is the 6 weeks of tennis from the French Open to Wimbledon because every day I can watch uninterrupted coverage and all the matches are around my time zone. It is the perfect time for tennis, top quality clay and grass tennis crammed into of 6 weeks. I would like the indoor tournaments in England to be brought back aswell.
I would also like to go to some hardcourt tourneys in the USA, but I don't usually go there for tennis. I don't think I would go to the A.Open, but if I ever go to Australia, it would be during that time.

Is USA network going to cover the USO again this year? I prefer their coverage to ESPN2's.

Yes I think so. I also pefer their coverage to ESPN2'S coverage. It's similar coverage but a bit better

Here's the USA link to the USopen page. It's from last year but it will still apply this year http://www.usanetwork.com/sports/usopen2005/

That's the 2005 schedule, but on the USO Series page, it has the TV network that will be covering the event and USA Network is for USO along with CBS, so yeah, USA should be covering the USO. Can't wait! My favorite part of tennis season!
