Not really unexpected with the bum wrist of hers. Would be pretty tough to win AO hitting only slice backhands.

...Great...No Henin, no Venus, fat Serena...so I guess we'll have Mauresmo or Sharapova win it for a change (except that's not a change at all). I was counting of Venus just to make the WTA AO interesting this year...

I honestly think Jankovic has a shot at making it to the second week if she isn't tired, but that's the part i'm worried about. I think Kim could win it as well, but she got pushed to a third by Li.

LEFTYS!!!!!!!! TTC was showing that match only a few games behind the live scoring, I came on here, saw that someone posted in the WTA-Sydney thread, avoided it (it was at 5-5), came here, and saw the result!

Sorry. But I didn't post the result, I didn't mean it to be revealing, because I posted it before the match ended. I should have said, "they are in a third set".
