Quite sad. It was a charming little event.

I always thought that this event was the odd one out. Everyone leaves for the European clay season at about the time this even is held.

it was a strange event, but even still, it was a nice one. it was a traditional event (even if it was largely ignored), it will be sad to see it go.

It's quite a tough for the tournment officals and owners to get the big boys in to the tournment. But it's always fun watching someone else then Federer and Nadal come clay court season. It is sad to see it go.

That's nota good decision. The US Claycourt Championships were always a big claycourt event. It is one of the oldest tournaments around and has had so many great former champions. There used to actually be an American claycourt season with events liek Atlanta there aswell. Since Atlanta was stopped, I don't think as many players have bothered with Houston. It is a shame because it is such an old tournament that has had many great champions.

This is too bad... it was always a nice tournament. Sad that the tournament relied on two players....
