The ChampionshipsJbors is seeded 16th, he opens against Adelaide, then two-time champion, Child. Dave is the 8th seed and has a soft draw to the quarters, he will play either Beta or Cecil, then Trinky or Valkyrie. NEA is the fourth seed and has a tough road to the quarters. He will play either Duke or Benita, then Leftys or Phobe. I am the 7th seed and will play either Fulgora or Sarahginia, after that Bench or Strog. Doublea is the 11th seed and opens against Stevos, Mollusk will be next for the winner of that match. Agassi is the 14th seed and opens against J-man, the winner faces Bizet who will need to beat Tennis Fan or Rhomberg.

Ew at my draw. I better beat Phoebe. But considering my state of "consistency", I never know.

first off, stay on the internet, I want an interview.
NEA has Phobe though, that could be tough. you have a difficult quarter match with Child, but Trinky hasn't been any better than mediocre on grass since season 1.

Tricatrina still beat me comfortably at the Roddick Open, so she's doing something right or I was just terrible in that match.

Okay, you losers are being so inactive, its pathetic, so I will start talking.
J-man-Agassi looks to be a thriller, so does mine and x.doubleas first match. I have mixed feelings about our match, because he has such a great grass game, but I have sort of got the better of him this season.
The other best storyline is Dave-NEA. Their places in the race is soooo close its incredible, I really thought NEA would pass him with the semi at the Roddick, but Dave is hanging in there impressively. That Aussie final was huge, he has definitely been the better one in the tier 1's-slams. NEA has far surpassed him in the tier 2-4 stage though.
And then of course Yodavitch-Child is great too, both are having incredible seasons, and are FAR ahead of the rest of the field. Their race for year-end number one should be exciting to watch!
This slam is going to be huge for those two rivalries, whoever comes out higher than the other is almost definitely going to pass, or stay in the lead.
Good luck everyone!
Also, good preview PSALT.

I disagree. Dav has won a Tier I I have reached a Final. And I still absolutely REFUSE to count that pathetic draw as reaching a Slam Final and being "better" at Slams. It was atrociously easy...

Why didn't you make the final then? I mean, you have to make it there somehow, and it wasn't THAT easy in my opinion. The truth is, hes been to a final, you haven't, and you'd think you might get a chance to take advantage of one of your easier draws, but you haven't. Plus he IS still ahead in the race. Rankings don't lie..., especially race rankings.

Oh are you talking about this season? I thought you meant overall. Give me Phobe, Saraghinia and j-man and I will get to a Slam Final for you stevos. Have you SEEN my slam draws? They are an absolute joke. Even though I am the highest ranked member I have one of the worst draws: leftys/phobe...Yodavitch/Edelstein...we only need to go that far!! Lmao. I mainly disagree with the Tier I though, if we are going on this season, how has he done better than me?

'you will probably win Wimbledon PSALT!' NEA says. yeah right. I am seriously doubting if I will even have a NEA-indoor like season to salvage anything. I truly see my year being like this nonstop, my sucking has not let up at all this season. this has gotten beyond crazy. I went from Aussie, French, YEC finalist and No.3 in the world, to getting past the quarters only three times in one season at the half way point.

This is the thing that annoys me: I could put my HOUSE on losing to Yodavitch. I seriously could. I will log on tomorrow and there we go: Yodavitch dft NEA! Wooage. Well done to: dav, j-man, x.doublea who all made the QF!!

Amen. My beginning was so promising! So far this season neither of us have done too well.
Percy, I am really curious, how DO you score these matches? Is it on an excel sheet or something, with odds, or do you have some program?
If so can I see what it looks like, or something? Thanks

Using a probability simulator. Your stats, the surface, confidence level, opponent, and various other minor details affect the % in the probability simulator. Then it's all up to luck. So yes, it is not impossible for Harriet to beat Vanessa Child, just really really unlikely.

Also, what are the "various other minor details". It just interests me: the patterns are quite incredible, to the point that it is impossible that some of them are simply "bad"/"good" luck! Unless it is just a coincidence, but seriously some of the patterns are remarkable...
PSALT not doing that much until Grand Slams where he has remarkable runs, always playing the big game well.
Me, losing to the hot player in nearly every Grand Slam, never being able to step up the plate and beat them.
Vanessa having on and off spurts.
Yodavitch not being able to win a game then all of a sudden playing incredibly.
Bizet choking!
Lots more too. They are really weird if the only factors are the ones mentioned above! It is cool though, adds a sense of reality to the game.

Some interesting patterns, like Ying-Chang losing 0-6 7-6 7-6!

There is no link. It is not on the computer, but rather a program on my calculator (such a great program, on a calculator!). These things are not merely coincidences at all. Everytime something happens, it adds to your personality and character. For example when J-man started FTL he was exactly the same as everyone else, but he has grown to have a streaky but deadly game due to his skills and his history. Also if somebody beats you countless times then they are much more liekly to beat you again. All of these factors give you points in the probability simulator, and the more points you have the higher your %. The probability simulator just spins for each set, I put it all of the data. I know this is confusing, but does everyone get it? Sort of?

Interesting. I would like to see an example aswell!
So, percy, is my character losing to the hot-streak players in Grand Slams, or just generally losing QF/SF stage ALL of the time...? Does that add to my, or lack of, probability!
