Tennis Pictures

Hi, I was wondering if some of you guys could help me find some WTA tennis pictures? I have been making colages for tennis lately, and most of the pictures I could find were only about 250 X 200 pixels. Do any of you happen to have 400 pixel pictures? Or tell me where I can find them?

I guess you could try google images, thats where I get all my pics. Other than that I cant really help ya.

The pictures are a bit big, but you can always crop or resize them....

Thanks, those are good size pictures. And stevos, I did try google images, but it only gave me like 250 X 200. I didn't want too look too deeply in case there were "odd" pictures that my teacher would deem inappropriate. I do the colages at school.

Exactly, thats why I don't like using google. I mean, I just searched "Federer with Australian Open trophy" and it came up with this half naked guy. Shocked So I prefer picture websites. Not like google.

Try Yahoo! Images...from what I've seen, I think they're slightly better.

It doesn't matter for me. I'm looking for one to put on my Wimbledon poster. All the ones I find are like 100x100.

I looked everywhere, then gave up. All I saw were similar sizes 118X114 or something like it. (check wikipedia) I tired to stretch but it looked bad... sorry

Wikipedia's the same. The biggest I saw was 400x400 (around). I tried to enlarge it, but the quality goes down. I'll keep looking.

Yeah, I would have to say she does! Laughing Since my game style is so much like her's I can't help but put more pictures of her on my wallpaper. As it was intended for me. Laughing But of course, other people can use it, but I made it with the intention for myself. Laughing I think if I have time, i'll make some player collages. Like for just one player.

I disagree with you PSALT. I think Justine's bakchand is one of the most fluid and beautiful in the game. She should be admired for her talent and her athletisism, but depised for her attitude at times.

her backhand looks like she is about to fall over. let's hope that a gust of wind doesn't blow in her direction at the same time as her follow through, scratch that, hope the wind blows her over. Look at Mauresmo, her balance on her follow through is perfect.

It depends on the type of backhand the viewer has. If the viewer has a 2hander, they might not like her backhand if they think 2handers are beautiful(yes, that's kinda rare, but I know some people who think 2handers are more beautiful than onehanders).

Ok, i've started the Davenport collage. I know x.doublea would probably like an Agassi one Wink . Patrick would probably want a Williams Sister one. Stevos when he gets back would probably want either a Sharapova or Williams Sister one. And I bet PSALT and NEA would like an anti-JHH one(you would probably need to help me find pictures of her looking negative though Razz )! Laughing For some of you guys, I don't know who your favorite players are. So, you can let me know and I hopefully should get it done by the end of the summer.

I would think Stevos would want a Jackson or Vaidisova one, he seems to adore them. I wonder where he is, anybody know?

He is at camp. He said he would be back in a few weeks. It just depends on what Stevos wants, so I can do either.

You seem to create these collages in quite a short time. This is impressive, since it usually takes quite a while to get rid of the backgrounds from the player pictures. Wink

If I can get all the pictures gathered in good time, I can do it pretty fast, but if the photo website is down, then it might take me however long the website is down for. There must be a faster way of removing the background! I have been erasing it by hand. Embarassed My friend uses Photoshop, but I like Gimp better, it's less complicated. Theres a faster way of doing it on Photoshop, but my friend was making a Sharapova collage for herself, and she cut a lot of hands, arms, feet, trophy ends off because it wasn't very accurate. Laughing But I think I can do it. If I can finish the Davenport one in at most a week or 2, then I can do an Agassi one.

By the way, just to let everyone know, I'm fully willing to create wallpapers for you guys if you want me to. Here's one of my wallpapers (of Agassi, of course). I scaled the image down becuase it's a huge wallpaper:

Yes, I can't stand doing those backgrounds. I use Fireworks. What I usually do is I use the eraser tool and just chip the image little by little. I usually don't do collages though; I don't have the patience to. Embarassed I will usually do ones in the style I did above though.

I saw your wallpaper website, it looks good. On your page leftys, 2 of the wallpapers said 'Image can't be found'.

Full body pictures are very hard to find, especially trophy pics.

I think she can. You can always just get rid of 'A USTA EVENT' by using cut and paste or clone brush....

My room. Very Happy Now I have full GS posters all over my room. It actually doesn't take that long to make. About 4 days at most.
