The player of the year has to go to Child or Yoda. Nobody comes close to them.
Member of the Year could be moderately interesting. NEA should win though.
Why am I not nominated for sportsman of the year? I am beyond nice! I always make sure to give people at least 4 games, to make sure I don't destroy their self-esteem.

Ye, I should definitely win member of the year. I finished number 1 in the world, let alone member...
I will vote for myself I think, cannot think of anyone else to vote for!!!
And I think I should be sportsman too (especially having said the above^^^)!

ATTENTION!
Sorry everyone, for most improved player, I forgot to change 'stevos' into 'N_E_A'. If you have already voted, and you thought N_E_A was the most improved player of the year, please PM me saying that you think N_E_A deserves the award, and tell me who you voted for in that category, so I can discount that particular vote.
Sorry!!!

Anyone else with this problem?

I am up for most improved? Why?
Yodavitch should get that...please nobody vote for me, that would be an embarassing award to win!

It's been exactly 1 year since the first FTL tournament was played!- 27th February 2006.
Well done everyone, especially Percy for all of your hard work in the past year

Wow, one year of FTL, amazing! Thanks for all the work you put in Percy and all the members making FTL what it is.

I thought I would post this here because the WTT threads seem hard to reach because they are in a sub-forum...Percy, is there anyway I can change this/sort it out? x.doublea mentioned he never saw something because of flashing orange tags or something like that...
So..why is nobody except tennisfan sending WTT points?! The tournament is TOMORROW!!! What is going on? stevos did you not see my post...I have put you in the draw and you still haven't even decided on surface; come on guys!!
BTW, congrats percy on a great year running FTL!!

Thankyou PSALT! I now have 2-7 points
If this is what the first week is going to be like...although activity does seem really low, maybe it will pick up once FTL restarts!

Thanks everyone! I can't believe FTL has been alive for a full year now. Great job everyone; I guess it's only fitting that there will be dramatic changes in it's one-year anniversary!
And N_E_A, that is something I don't understand and is the problem of phpBB.

these are some weird results.
I cannot believe Jenna was the Player of the Year runner up over Yoda. That is a HUGE upset. Yoda seemed to be a sure thing to get at least the runner up.
I got Member of the Year again. Rather suprised there. I can honestly say I did not vote for myself.
J-man got Most Improved. I was the runner up, I didn't know I was even nominated.
Sheila/Leftys/and I tied for Best Looking.
Mauresmo Masters won best Tier I, Aussie Open won best Slam.

Worst voting - ever. How did PSALT win member of the year...did you not see Season 4? Even worse:
Most Improved Player Runner-up...PSALT you have to agree here? You were MILES WORSE THAN SEASON 3...are these people thick?!
I am amazed. Jennacourt runner-up? Are you living in dreamworld? She did nothing all year...Yoda and even me were clearly better. I cannot believe those results; I can only see bias voting.
Good job though x, as usual:)

I am thinking me winning Most Improved was a typo by Doublea. I was not even nominated.

I can honestly say I didn't vote PSALT in any category. I voted Yoda for POTY and NEA for MOTY.

I completely agree tht the results are rediculous. I almost didn't nominate Jennacourt for player of the year simply because her only real acheivement was reaching the Wimbledon final, which is not much for player of the year. It really should have only been down to 3 players: Child, Yodavitch, and N_E_A, although Yodavitch was the clear runner-up. Very surprising there. I also don't see how J-man won most improved player (no offence). He won a slam in season 3 and this year he wasn't even consistant, jsut a few unexpected runs. PSALT was also not even nominated for that category, so he can't be the runner-up.

I think I know why there's a problem with the Improved Player... I had made a typo, typing 'PSALT' instead of 'Not_Even_Amateur' on the voting page. I had corrected it within the first hour, but I guess two people did it prior to the correction.
Hence, everyone who voted (eight people), please send me PM as to how you thought was the most improved player out of these five:

Benchwarmer1
Yodavitch
Stroganoff

This Stars for Stars has not been a huge success like before:( The whole set of results seem a sham in many ways:( The real winners did not win.

besides Most Improved, I didn't have a problem with the winners. the runner ups were a little strange in most of them, but still.
for Member of the Year, I did vote for you. it comes down to whether you prefer consistancy or the big result though. I never thought you were as sure of getting the MOTY as you did. it was surely an upset, and once again I do think you were better last season, but still, I don't think it is quite as big of an upset as you are making it out to be.

One big result but apart from that sucking? I am not on about just that award at all; all of them almost were poor results, I felt. You were poor last season, let us be honest...

from Wimbledon on I was consistent in making semis and finals almost every event. then couple that with a YEC win. my entire year was not awful, I actually did fairly well. I was down to around 9 I believe after Wimbledon. I climbed back up to 4 before the years end. I got two Tier II's, a USO semi, a handful of Tier I semis, and a YEC title (I beat members 4 times in that YEC alone). My year was not that bad.

Ok - I guess your constant moaning of worst thing in the world, I cannot win a match ever, this is terrible, I better win a grand slam to make up for this etc gave me the wrong impression.
But ye...like I said, not just that result; I don't think there is a result I agree with
