That's what I am thinking... I haven't been on for a while and I come back now and see that it has gone very quiet... I was just checking when was the last time regulars post... where is Stevos, Agassi, Dave ... etc. etc.

Steve I know is still around, but on WTAworld. Dave posted once or twice on WTAworld but isn't really active there, so I can't really draw on whether this is how he normally is or whether he is really busy lately. And I really don't know where Agassi has gone.

Apparantly Dave has the huge exam that the students from England(maybe the rest of Europe, i'm not sure) are taking, so he's definitely going to be busy.

Speaking of exams, I was taking Algebra II SOL exam on Tuesday when I got the infamous blue screen; my computer crashed. I was on my last question... was so upset ... then computers started "blue-screening" around me.... they made us wait in class... then they told us it was the whole school... then they said the whole city... as it turned out it was the whole State!! The Virginia Department of Education testing super-duper computers crashed!!!! Needless to say that it was front page news and first story in the evening news.... 20,000 student tests interrupted. I am sure people lost their jobs somewhere.
Bottom line: I am so freaking mad because I have to take it again next week. Should have happened in Chemistry because I probably failed it anyhow ... arrrggghhh!!!!

Oh that's right you're taking SOL too. I've got all of mine next week  I also heard about the crashing of the servers. Kids at my school were affected by it and had to stay after.

Sort of like the big FTL, except smaller in scale (For example, 20-22 players instead of 44)....

Hey everyone  Has been a while since I posted on this forum. Now my exams are completely done with I have alot more time free.
But in relation to this topic, um, what are we going to do? This forum has had so little activity by the looks of things! Where is percy, he seems not to have appeared for months?? What is happening

Nice to see you back. Hope all the exams went well.
Well, Percy wants the forum to re-establish itself as a discussion forum (apposed to a heavily-fantasy-oriented one). Unfortunately, we haven't been able to do so with much success.

I mean if Percy hasen't even posted in the council in the past month then well this forum is probably dead. It would be good if Percy would post something in the Member Announcements or something.

Well, about a month ago. I sort of misphrased what he said... (I'm not sure whether I'm allowed to do this, but...): "This time should help rebuild its identity as a "tennis forum" and not just a fantasy tennis website. "

It's hard, because the council doesn't have admin powers (Ex. assigning members leadership positions, creating (sub)forums, private forums, blocking/suspending/banning, etc.

I thought it would be kinda hard to just transfer someone into that position, but is there anyway that someone could start-up a new site with all the same things that are on here and just announce it to all the members here. Maybe it will work, I don't know. And I would have no clue on how to start a site of my own. I am not sure if anyone who has been here since the beginning has the know how to do something like that.
BTW, did the Admin. tell his council members that he was just going to abandon ship or did it just occur that way?

I don't think Percy jumped ship... he's not the type. But, I have no idea what happened.
For now, I think we should just try to bring back our main members. WooblesWobble, is there anyone you know who would be interested in participating in the site?
As for a duplicate forum, I suggest we wait a bit until making that decision. Let's see whether he comes back or not. I would be happy to act as an intern admin if no one objects with reason.

I agree that Percy is not the "jumping ship kinda guy" Maybe he is away or something... personally I am going to stick around for a while...

I will check to see if anyone would join. As you being a intern admin that may be something that you could run across this council that you guys have and if they all agree then maybe have a poll for the others here to vote.

He seems like he has been here for awhile with the amount of posts he has. Plus he must be respected by the others members here as he was elected to the council. So I say go for it. From the few days that I have been here there really seems like there used to be alot of good things going on. There just needs to be a leader of this ship to get it back afloat.

No, I haven't abandoned you guys! How could I! 
I have been in China!
I have been working in China for almost a month now and will be returning there for the month of August. There was not much time (or access) to internet so I just figured the French Open and Wimbledon would stirr some action here while I was away.
I don't want to start FTL again because I will be leaving once again for China in a little over a month, so hopefully we can survive until the fall without it. I'm glad we still have people here though trying to help!
