BBC: Well, x.doublea, you nearly won yourself a place int he finals of Wimbledon, congratulations. How does it feel to do well here, considering your, well, rather modest season so far?
x.doublea: It definitely comes as a relief. You know, I had like two good runs so far this season, but I was really starting to doubt my ability to rise to any occasion. I'm thankful I was able to do so here at my favourite Grand Slam tournament on my favourite surface. It's too bad I couldn't close out the match at 5-4 in the third against Jennacourt, but I'm definitely satisfied with my showing. It has been a long few months since I have felt like I have accomplished something at this level (since the US Open).
BBC: What's your primary goal for the remainder of the season?
x.doublea: Well, it would be nice if I could do well at the US Open. Defending points I won during the US Open Series will be of primary concern, for my ranking can't afford to lose points from there. After the US Open, I have less points to defend, so I can be a little creative in trying to get as many points as I can to, perhaps, make the Federer's Masters Cup. The chances are slim, but it's possible.
