TD: Congratulations leftys_rock on your fantastic win here at the Hewitt Hardcourts, your first Teir I victory! First off, just curious... how on Earth did you manage to beat World Number 2 6-0 in a set during in the finals, where you are supposed to be nervous?
leftys_rock: Thank you! I was a little bit preocupied with a physics test I had to take later, so I didn't really worry about how I won the second set, just try to win as fast as possible to get off the court to study. But honestly, I just hung in mentally and that's what unfolded.
TD: I'm sure you've been asked this question too many times, but, do you consider yourself a top contender at the big tournaments now?
leftys_rock: Indeed! Of course I hope so, I know i'm going to probably be one of the dark horses, but no, by no means am I the favorite going into all the big tournaments. This is after all just ONE tournament, there are many more to come during the season. This of course puts me in a very different position when it comes to these tournaments compared to how it was before I won this, but I don't consider myself a top gun obviously, as it is just one tournament.
