USTA: Congratulation jbors47 on your fantastic run here at the US Open! You make our whole country proud, and thankfull that we have yet another rising star in this marvelous sport! We know that you predicted that you would make a name for yourself last year, but did you realistically think you could do it prior to the tournament?
jbors47: I spent all year training for this moment. I knew that late in the season I could compete, so I prepared to do just that. The US Open is the biggest and most important tournament to me, and I knew that for myself, my fans, and my country I had to make a run.
USTA: What do you feel you need to work on (in your game) in order to make these kinds of runs a routine for you?
jbors47: I think the only thing that needs a ton of work is my mental game. To stay strong through an entire season I am going to have to be mentally strong more than anything. I don't get a ton of early wins and then have it all blow up in my face in the finals like Stevos.
