LTA: Congratulations dav6789 on your outstanding effort at the Australian Open. Our country was cheering you on the entire way. Unfortuantely, John Edelstein beat both you and Not_Even_Amateur. Nevertheless, we are extremely proud of you. Not only that, but you have reached the Top 10, and British tennis has never looked better (two players in the Top 10). How does it feel to have reached this plateau?

dav6789: I am really honoured to have reached the top 10. That was one of my goals I set myself when I started out. I think Britain has been a very strong tennis nation since the beginning. NEA and I had some good results in Season 1 and we have improved since. I think it is a shame we haven't won the Team Cup yet, but I think it's only a matter of time 'till we do. By both of us being in the top 10, I think it will make our sport more popular in Britain. The Murray Indoors is coming up, where we are both playing so I look forward to see what the atmosphere will be like there.

LTA: I can guarantee you it will be electric. Talking about the Team Cup, I know it is in the far future, but which other countries do you think have a chance at being a major threat?

dav6789: Obviously the 2-time Champions Australia will go in as one of the favourites. I think USA and Canada have also had pretty strong showings before. I think we were all suprised when Australia won their second title, as their players aren't the highest in the ranks, but it shows that the team competition is so different from normal tournaments. J-man and leftys work very well as a team and have been unbeatable so far. I still think NEA and myself will be a major threat this year though.
