Roddick Open - Grass Tier I, Wimbledon WarmupBig event today so I thought it deserved its own topic. I have a SF place to defend which I will massively struggle to do, but given my current form I should be able to manage that and nothing more!
Is there any possibility tournaments will be calculated at around 6:00 to 6:30 Percy? That would be just great...

crap! what kind of draw is this?!?! two potentially great grasscourters in the first two rounds! JoJo needs to hurry up and retire, it is getting annoying having him be a floater.  If I should manage to get to the semi's however, I do think I have a fair chance for the final simply because the other half of the left side has only one (two if you count Leftys) person that has a game for grass.

Me! I must have a game for grass because I have had the best (?) results on it from the members. Granted, my game is far from built from grass but it works for some reason. Leftys will annihilate me though first round, losing some points for this one! And, btw, my draw is harder than yours.

Another common feature of my career this time: cannot prevail in the huge matches that count, had I beaten Edelstein then, who I have beaten countless times recently, then I probably would have won my FIRST Tier I. But no.

I only know one thing, I better have a hell of a season next time to make up for this. I went from No.3, to No.8. I seriously doubt I make the YEC, and that right there will knock me out of the top 10. you think you had a bad season last year? you don't know the half of it. I have so many points to defend that I will lose.....

I seriously doubt I will win a Slam this season. If I do, it will be either the Aussie or the French. I will not ever win Wimby because of my weak serve, then the USO is my home Slam, and I will likely choke. I don't have many points to defend until the indoor season (thank God that the USO Series was by far the low point of my season last season), still, I don't see me having any critic silencing runs anytime soon.
