Question 1! (Check back for new questions, EVERYONE ANSWER!)Okay, Benchie talked about it, and I decided I would post 1 question for everyone to answer, and then once I had enough, I'd ask a new one.
Here's the first one....
Q. How long will you make your new "gameplan" for percy? Will it be a few words, a paragraph, a novel?
A. I think mine will be a short paragraph, concerning my defensiveness and offensiveness. Of course, I'm not going to give any of that away

Probably a few words, and if more, a couple sentences.

PSALT

not really sure. I will have to cross that bridge when I come to it

I am totally stuck...I have literally no idea what to do yet.
BTW everyone disaster struck last night while I was filling out the Head-to-Head I worked at it for about three hours (serously, and I was still only half way, not even that, through) and then my internet cut off and I lost IT ALL. I actually nearly cried, lol. But seriously...now I might just use PSALT's format; update it, because some of it is wrong, and gradually add this like previous meeting/current edge etc etc.
Sorry guys but right now I am not gunna sit for six hours; it would be too depressing! I will gradually, over time, add the bits and pieces instead of trying to do it all in one night again!!

Stevos, don't make it too long ! No more than a very short paragraph. And don't forget, you can change it after each set if you are online.

One thing about game plans that I would like to ask is this: Should I put very briefly what the players did during each set during the match? I ask this because players may want to change their game plans between sets depending on why they win/lose in the first set. Understand? It would be difficult to "guess" how you lost a set.

It would differently be helpful to the members for sure.

I think that is a good idea. How long is the gap going to be between sets? Surely you will have to set a time limit for people to get their gameplans in
?

It will be very short, around 5 minutes. It will only work for people who are online for their matches.

Mine was about 3 sentences that just clarify one main point. I hope it works.

When do the QF matches get completed...tomorrow? If so...I won't need to send a strategy until tomorrow, right?

Correct, or tonight once you know who you are playing. Or you can even send one before if you will play the same way no matter your opponent.

leftys or Stevos, if you wish to change your game plans between sets you only have about 2 minutes left!

I beat Stevos 6-2, 7-6(5). Great second set Steve! I served for the match at 5-4 but got broken. Really close tiebreaker too.

Just watched Mollusk win. She played well espically in the second set. If only V could have held it together

Mollusk is a guy.

Oooh I'm online for a match!
Cool. Go Jbors, I really hope you can get some wins together. Avolt is a toughie sometimes though.
3-0 right now for jbors I think.

See, if you are online you can change your strategy between sets, which may be especially useful if you lose...

Is changing strats like a guaranteed win of the set then?

Nope. Did I say it was? It just might help if your game plan is not working. I guess Jbors just fixed himself.

What about if you win a set and don't change strategy and your opponent doesn't change strategy...is that a guarentee of a set win?

No. Nothing is a guarenteed set win. Remember, FTL is all based on luck. It is possible that Harriet could beat Vanessa Child. It actually is possible. And look at the current match. Jbors lost the first set to Avolt 5-7, then won the second 6-0. Nobody changed their game plans.

Does anyone mind if I calculate the Christmas Island Challenge set-by-set instead of game-by-game, since there are no members playing and it is a tier IV, and it took 2 hours to calculate 4 matches?

You might aswell just post the match scores percy...there are no members in the whole tournament which means it is of minimal interest given that it is a low Tier. Just get it over with...save yourself some energy!
