Doubles: Note that Andy and Jamie Murray are back in action as a doubles team and they face Baghdatis/Wawrinka. I think this would be the first Baggy ATP doubles match in a year. He usually only plays doubles in Davis Cup.

I hope Murray comes out well and gets a good start, but I only see Davydenko or 2-time finalist Ljubicic taking the title. Hope the Murrays can win the doubles

Good job Murray! Tough one there, yikes.
I really enjoy watching Gael too, he's like a basketball streetballer or something, so cool.

Murray is having a fantastic run this week! Some of the best tennis of his career considering he is playing with a heavy cold. He is currently 2-4 down to Nikolay Davydenko in the SF. The winner will play Ivan Ljubicic. Ljubicic beat Robin Soderling 3-6 6-4 7-6. This is the 4th consecutive year he has reached a final in the first week of the year, and 3rd time in Doha.
In the doubles, US Open champions Martin Damm and Leander Paes will play Mikhail Youzhny and Nenad Zimonjic in the final. Youzhny and Zimojic halted the good run of the Murray brothers in the SF. Damm won the title in 2003 and 2004 with Cyril Suk, and Paes won the title in 1998 with Mahesh Bhupathi.

Murray-Ljubicic should be a good final. On a side note, not sure if anyone pointed this out earlier, but Ljbucic is now using a HEAD.

One of his statements was that he wanted to have a good start because he did not want to be in a position to start doubting his new equipment and start thinking that his racket change was a mistake.

I am really pleased Murray has got to the final this week. He has done really well in singles and doubles.
Right now, Murray and Ljubicic are on serve.
Yesterday night, Mikhail Youzhny and Nenad Zimonjic beat Martin Damm and Leander Paes 6-1 7-6. It is Youzhny's 2nd doubles title, and Zimonjic's 14th.

That's interesting... I would have thought he got a paint job....
