PSALT, that was some of the worst reporting I've ever read.."Leftys comes into this match with no pressure on her. She has nothing to defend until the carpet season and she knows it. She knows it’s all uphill from here. Stevos is in much the same boat. Leftys does lead the H2H though, a solid 6-3. Stevos has the more solid game however. He is known for simply not being able to beat people though (a la 1-8 vs. NEA). He has to have a good event sometime…… right? "
First of all, I am NOT in the same boat, I won my first two tournaments last year. And I made a tier 1 final after the Australian (hewitt) so I did have a solid result.
Plus, that head to head is way off, I know I beat NEA at least twice at the end of last season. Definitely more than once...

I got 7-1 but that was a really quick run through! It could definitely be 8-1 but it is at least 7-1 and you definitely only beat me once.

How did it not work? In fact, since you were not playing your best throughout the match, if you had chosen a different game plan you probably would have lost. You completely countered what leftys was trying to do to you.

So what do you guys think about the finals? Since it's so late in the UK for N_E_A, I think it would be a bit unfair for him not to have a game plan or be able to be online. Same goes for Jbors, just on a different scale. Maybe finals tomorrow, so people can "watch" it?

Tomorrow I should be able to watch it if it is between 4-6!
And about the other thing; thanks for the clarification:) I did think leftys was going to play like that (I reviewed her training points) so I am glad it worked. What I meant was...if it is 7-6 in the third, it obviously didn't work anywhere near how I wanted it too!!

Percy would it be fine if I sent you a Gameplan and sent you a plan B in case I lost a set and wanted to change gameplans? I say this because I'm not always online during the matches and it would be helpful to me if it isn't to much trouble

Sure, but you can't choose under what conditions you will change your game plans. So, no matter the first set outcome, you will have to switch to that game plan (unless you make it a third set, then it will be switchd for your third set).

Because then anyone could just send in a "backup" game plan depending on how they win or lose a set, which really is unfair and not the point of game plans.

Congrats jbors.
Overall this tournament confirms my fears that this will be a disastrous season for me. I played three opponents I generally own but had to absolutely battle in all three matches and ended up losing in a Final! Not looking too great as of yet...

Oh yeah this reminds me, I wanted to bring this up earlier.
Are we using the race ranking to decide the YEC again?? I personally didn't think it gave an accurate order of who was the best during the year. I prefered the normal rankings.
