Hello again, and this is leftys_rock blogging from Thailand!
Well today, I woke up at 5 AM(again...) and did some jogging (again...). Except this time indoors on the treadmill because of some bad weather. I had expected to have a flight at 8, but there was a storm, so my flight got delayed.
Because I had quite a bit of time on my hands while in England, I went to see if the All England Club museum was open. I hadn't expected it to be, but it was open. I went inside and saw some interesting exhibits. There was an apparition of the ghost of Henry Edelstein(John's father, who won the 1984 Wimbledon) reminicing about those memories back then. I also saw an exhibit that contained a walkthrough of Jennacourt's heart and clips of her first match against Benchwarmer1 showing how the heart works. There were also memorabilia from Ling-Chang(Ying-Chang's mother, a multiple Wimbledon winner in the early 90's) like old racquets. I happily saw some articles of clothing and racquets that dav and NEA used this year. They had just put those in. There were also Vanessa Child's shoes inside. Her father, Bill Child, was trying to make everybody notice the shoes and explained how they had gold lacing on them. I very quickly walked by him and dropped the "vitamin" bottle that I had found left on a table in the player's lounge at his feet. I left the museum afterwards.
At around 1 PM, the storm had lightened up to a drizzle, so I boarded the plane to Thailand. I got there at around 10 AM in the morning in Bangkok. There were beautiful golden temples there that I had to go visit. It was quite interesting hearing different bells and gongs inside.
As I am incredibly tired from the plane flight, I will be off to the hotel and getting a nice long nap and i'll be looking at more temples and landmarks tomorrow. I will also be checking the draw later, as I am just too tired to think of it right now. So Ciao everybody and i'll be blogging from Thailand again tomorrow!
