Hi! I am Dav6789, currently in Spain for the Lopez Clay Premier. I have been here for a few days since I missed the Williams Series. This is my first claycourt tournament this year so I have been practicing alot on clay. My first match is against the new girl, Fluffernutter. I am quite nervous since I haven't played for a bit. I am excited to be back though and see the players again.
This morning I woke up early and had a good hours practice with PSALT. He has improved alot but doesn't enjoy the clay. Then, I had lunch followed by a 3:00 start to my match. I just came back from the court, I won 6-2 6-3. I am happy with the way I played, and I feel good on the clay. Tonight I will have an early dinner and get some sleep as I have a QF tommorow against Leftys_rock.
I woke up around 11:30 am since my match is a night match. I came to the courts around 12:30 pm and hit with Rachy. Then, I hung around and watched PSALT beat Chikita Benita. Usually I would speak with Leftys_rock, but we had a match coming up so we politely avoided each other. I lost in straight sets to Leftys_rock. She played very well and is confident after beating Vanessa Child last week. O well, it has been a good tournament to start the claycourt season. I will leave Spain tommorow. Next week, I am in Argentina for the Gaudio Grand Prix. Wish me luck!
