I think this is amazing. Brenda Schultz-McCarthy recently served a 130 mph serve in a match. She was always a huge server and had the fastest serve each year between 1990-1997 (her highest was 123 mph). She retired in 1999 and has made a comeback this year aged 35, and she has set a new record. Venus Williams held the record from 1998-now, but Brenda has it back. She is a huge 6'2" athlectic women and should be a threat (she reached the QF of a WTA tournament last month).
What an achievement! She has plans to play on a full schedule next year. I hope this will inspire Capriati and Seles to come back on tour.

Wow, Schultz-McCarthy's coming back! 130 m.ph. is absolutely amazing, especially for someone her age. I hope she does as well as she's capable of doing.
