Thoughts on the Australian Open Quarter-Finals?
John Edelstein:
For me it was a great win. leftys_rock makes you beat her and I hads to do that. The crowd was really supportive.
Thoughts and Predictions for,
NEA-PSALT
John Edelstein:
PSALT has the edge in every department; he is more experienced late in slams, he has been playing some of the best out there, and he recently beat Not_Even_Amateur. The Brit also has the pressure of #1 on him, though he has handled that well. PSALT.
Edelstein-Ying-Chang
John Edelstein:
Im my opinion, besides PSALT, Ying-Chang has been playing the best tennis. I will have to start well and hopefully move better than I have been. Although I have played her before, she is very different now and this will be new.
Q. Coming into this event, not having played your best tennis for sometime, did you expect to make it this far?
John Edelstein:
No. But I am very happy that I have. It feels very special.
Q. What are your thoughts on Ying-Chang? So far, having seen her, do you think she has finally cleaned up her life?
John Edelstein:
She has been great. She has only lost one set, and that was to Vanessa, so definately she has improved. I don't know nor want to get into any of the drug stuff.
Q. After your match last night, Leftys_Rock was disturbingly upset over the loss. She mentioned that she would be aiming balls at you during your doubles match and such. Thoughts?
John Edelstein:
I highly doubt that. She was very gracious in defeat, and told me up at the net that she was happy that I was back, and wished me good luck. She is a very respectable and mature young lady. Sounds like a media twist to me.
