I am leavingIn recent days I have been pondering over the decision of leaving the forum for a few reasons one of which the actions of one of your council members NEA. In recent posts he has been very arrogant, rude, and condesending to other members and this is something that should not be allowed let alone by a council member. In his defense he has drummed up some good discussion, but none the less discussion I feel could have been much less arrogant in nature and less condesending. NEA continues to state that he is working towards bettering this forum with better discussion, but in my view that is not the way. In my month here I have seen the same 12 or 13 members post everyday with one new member Benchwarmers posting more than just a few times. I understand this forum is fairly new, but with comments like the ones NEA has been posting for what he says are good discussion I just see the same group of members in the near future. Percy I really think you have done a wonderful job with this forum and the fantasy tennis is a fantastic idea. I had alot of fun with that. Also up to these recent posts by NEA I was going to take out an ad on Gators Zone which is the local T.V. station that promotes Florida Gators sports to advertise this site during the NCAA tournament, but with the recent comments and posts made by NEA
I am sorry but I am now not willing to do so. I also have other reasons such as needing to focus on my real tennis, but the majority is the above matter.

Sounds like a soap opera to me. This is an overreaction to the EXTREME. I have barely been condescending nor arrogant, why are you making such a big deal? Stevos called my hypocritical...I responded by calling him naive. Sounds fair to me. I wish you would stay, you are a good contribution to the forum and I don't think maybe, what 3 posts? are a good enough reason for you to leave. Do you really think so?

Ye, lets not make the already over-dramatic more dramatic. It is not like I throw bricks through the windows of those who I have a disagreement with. In fact, I think my "behaviour" on this forum has been good. I have barely had any disagreements and even they have been minor. Gators is obviously weak-hearted.

Gators, are you actually leaving? I wish that if you had a problem you would have talked to me about it (I am the forum admin and I can help out with things; it's my job). I really wish you would not leave just because one person made some remarks that you thought were rude. I think that you should reconsider and stay, and please talk to me if you have a problem; I am only here to help don't forget. I will talk to N_E_A through PM and we will work this out, but I encourage you to not give up and try to put these things aside. I thought you really enjoyed fantasy tennis and such...this is very disappointing to me and I hope you will take me up on these issues and not just leave.

Gators, please dont leave! Where will our rivalry go in fantasy tennis?  I really think you should stay, some of the comments NEA made were deserving and besides, you had great input and I too think you should reconsider this. Instead of leaving, why not help make it better? If you chose to leave for sure, I wish you all the best and good luck in your tennis career!

tennisnews has a link for scores for the tournament on the right hand corner. I will get it. In recaps the name Keri Robinson is no where to be found under singles matches in ANY tie. I am actually thinking she was dropped for her doubles partner....

Hello, this is Keri aka gators-rox. I first want to apologize for my abrupt actions a few weeks ago when I left the forum over the negativity that was going on in a few of the posts here on the site. It was very bad judgement on my part to make such a hasty decision and I am sorry if I offended anyone especially NEA with my post. I was under alot of stress at the time cramming for finals which were given early to athletes and also preparing for the NCAA tournament. And as a freshman this was a very stressfull time for me. Well my freshman year is now complete as well as our teams journeys for the NCAA championships. We were defeated by Stanford 4-0 today. We had a very good run and I know I will prepare even harder for next year as I hope to play a more pivotal role. By the way I was not booted from singles play throughout the year I rarely played singles only on match ups that coach thought would be good experience for me.
NCAA Results
1R: We beat Samford 5-0, I won my #6 singles match 6-1, 6-1 my #3 doubles match with Nina DNF but we were up 7-1
2R: We beat South Florida 4-0, My #3 doubles match DNF butwe were up 7-5
R16: We beat UCLA 4-3, My #3 doubles team with Nina won the match 8-5
QF: We beat Baylor 4-0, My #3 doubles team with Nina was down 5-6 but DNF the match
SF: We lost To Stanford, My #3 doubles team lost 2-8
I hope you all will have me back as a member here.
I also forgot my old password so that is why I set up a new account.
