Surprising single wins for the aussies

Surprising win for France IMO. The player you don't know PSALT is Jerome Haehnel. He won an ATP singles title in Metz in 2004. He usually doesn't play outside France or central Europe because he has a phobia of flying. I assume that is over now he is in Australia.

Somewhat surpised at this result. Blowouts in singles but a tight doubles match, not a surprise.

What surface was this match played on? I wonder if Sanja Ancic was a letdown.

I finally get to see a match. USA-Russia right now. Harkleroad was far too defensive against Petrova, falling 3 and 0. Fish however is crushing Tursunov, 6-1 0-0. Fish can do no wrong right now. He got the break for 5-1 with an amazing dropshot, his serve is clicking, and is simply outplaying the Russian.

Berdych is wearing a visor. I normally don't care about players clothes, but he just looks dumb.

Yes that is very rough for her. Very fustrating. Not good for confidence. But on the contrast good job Petrova. She has gotten better mentally
