Help with 2 handed backhandI just came back from playing tennis. I played alright but my backhand was spraying everywhere expect inside the court. Now I do understand that my strings need to be tightened. But other than that what else can I do??
I leave for camp on Sunday so I won't be able to get a restrung racket (jbors it isn't the VAN DER MEER camp that's not for a few weeks)

Did you do what we said in the "two handed backhand" thread? Like practicing hitting left handed forehands so that your left hand can be the dominant hand in the backhand with the right hand as the driving force.

Yes that all makes sense. But anyone else know how to correct it

Change to a one-hander ...well, I guess next time you play you can try putting aa bit more spin on the ball...if you're hitting it all over the place, there's probably an incorrect element in your stroke. Perhaps your racquet face at contact point is totally open....

To tell you the truth I was actually thinking of changing to a one hander.
I think one part of the problem is spin and keeping down during the shot and getting the strings thighter

Are you like pulling up when you hit? Because, I think you should be staying down....

Yes abit. I also think I need to bend my elbows a bitand just stay realxed. My friend just kept picking on my backhand the whole time and won easily.
Maybe the fact that he is a lefty has something to do with it??
