Ok. I am thinking of, and percy has already given me the go-ahead if I would like, starting a game that would be held in the "Other Games" section. Similar to how leftys has run FITD, and taken that concept from WTAWorld, it seems quite successful. I would like to start a game that would incorporate some features of the games on WTAWorld that everyone here, or most here, seem to like. I think this would serve a few purposes:

1.)It would bring in our current members to this style of game and keep them more active at this forum. I.E. j-man, who so lost touch that he didn't realise he had won a Tier I on FTL. Another game that takes up a bit of time on the forum will keep our current members here longer and encourage talk and involvement in other sections:)
2.)It may encourage new members to sign up
3.)It should generally increase activity and help percy run this forum the way he wants it to be run!

Ok, I have quite a few ideas in mind for the game. Those who play games at WTAWorld will be familiar with the concept. Though it will not be a carbon copy of any game but it is designed from those games. It would not be too time-consuming at all. And EVERY MEMBER ought to sign up, or else I will come hunting you...only joking. But seriously, I think the likes of x.doublea/j-man/jbors and so on may find they quite enjoy it.

Hopefully it will be successful for the forum and good fun for you guys.

So, what do you think? If you guys are interested then I will start things off tomorrow...please let me know.

Also, all suggestions for the game, once it is up and running, are not only welcomed but are encourage - hopefully we can all change things and add things to make the game better.

But it will not be like FTL, it won't be quite as grand in scheme - just quite similar to a game from WTAWorld!

It will be choose your own player...I have not decided whether it will be WTA/ATP or both! That is something you guys can discuss.

So would you guys (god, I am totally overusing that phrase right now) rather have women players, men players or a combination of both?

I would probably have to use some computer players to fill up some parts of the draw too, as we only have a small number of active members...but that would be ok.

I would prefer either men or women, not combined (so it is realistic). Out of the two, I would prefer women players....That's my opinion.

I think that using men player's would make it a tad more interesting. But I see what you mean about realism dav...perhaps womens, as seen as people seem to want to choose women players more.

I will probably start a thread tomorrow of sign-up and rules etc.

I hope everybody will sign-up, that includes x.doublea, j-man, jbors etc!
