Sorry. I haven't played with those two strings so I shouldn't give you any biased opinions.

I have only used Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex and I would say it was a very reliable string. The Duraflex adds more durability, but if you are person who frequently breaks your strings I would sugest to get the 16 g over the 17 and definitly the 18. The string also give off quite a bit of power and also has good control. In my opinion a very good string that will give you alot of good play out of it.
