Having trouble with foot faults

I am having trouble foot faulting in matches. Does anyone have any suggestions that could help me stop this?

how many times during a match does it happen

Usually I get called on it at least 4 to 5 times a match.

Um, when you're practicing serving, place a can just on the baseline. When you serve, if your foot is knocking down the can before you make contact with the ball, then you're foot faulting.

Thank You, I will try that. I hate losing points by foot faults and also double faults.
