It was new years an hour and a half ago. I'm watching the celebration in London on Sky news.

The celebration in London was great! I usually go to Big Ben for the new year but I had to stay at home because it was absoultely pouring down with rain just an hour before. I'm glad it stopped so the celebrations and fireworks could still be good

It was pouring in Paris as well, but our party was inside. So humid on the dance floor. What a contrast to outside.

Happy New Year!!
I think I have a buz but it is not that bad. I thought it should be worse after I drank a whole bottle of Champagne!! That stuff was good! 
Yep! I did that at home... Here is what happened: we had family over tonight for dinner etc. About a dozen people. Everyone was drinking their usual stuff, coffee, iced tea, red wine... Mom had a bottle of champagne but nobody drank that. I asked if I could have some and was told "sure". Note that my parents don't care if I drink beer or wine, because of our past in Europe. It is really no big deal over there if kids drink beer or wine. It is not illegal either. Yet they have no problems because teenagers generally dont drink. It is no big deal to dring alcohol.
Anyhow, back to tonite. Well I had a couple of glasses before the guests left. After they left, I stayed up watching a movie.... and hit the bottle! and finishd the whole thing!! and it does not feel that bad either! I can't believe I had a whole bottle... I wonder what they will say in the morning. Mom will be upset and dad will be like "dude you gona kill yourself. Have you lost it?" but he won't be that upset!!
....ok I have a little dizziness...

Sounds like a nice night Tennis fan.  We sprayed champagne everywhere. Didn't drink any of course. But there were these three French guys who got really drunk and invaded our bus, but the bus driver threw them out. It was worrying/funny.

I drank some...just champagne, then a mai tai (damn those are good), then some rum and coke 
Didn't feel it at all.
