Good News For Guga FansBrazil's captain has handed Kuerten the chance to "resurrect" his career by playing Davis cup

Extremely interesting choice. As good of a player Kuerten was, I don't think he can really do much in the doubles.

maybe to try and attract ppl to Davis cup

I wouldn't think so... I think most people think Kuerten's retired, to be honest....

you're probably right...
anyway, if he did play doubles he would have a TOUGH time against Bjorkman and Aspelin

Definitely. I think Bjorkman alone can beat the Brazilian team. (Kuerten can't really volley)

well, its better than nothing for Brazil, at least they have a reason for the fans to come and watch, yet i wonder if his hip is gonna hurt or he will get back on tour and have some success (i actually did research on this stuff)

I certainly hope that he can come back and have success, but I honestly think that if he does come back, it'll be just a farwell tour. His hip's really bad, and I don't think it'll recover completely.

It's nice to see him back playing tennis. His hip has been on and off for awhile. I don't think he will make a huge impact on the tour but he could get some good wins if he keeps it up. As long as the hip is good

What a great choice for Brazil. And a very charismatic player as well.
